What is the Nexus?
Every month EDGE hosts a meeting for members of the association to discuss all things relating to Art and Neuroscience. As of March 2025, the Members’ Meeting has taken on a new shape with the NeuroArt Nexus. We launched this new speaker series to come together as a community, either online or in person, to listen to fascinating speakers, discuss projects, and develop collaborations. It is not only open for members, anyone with an interest in the topics can join.

What is a Communications Delegate?
EDGE has multiple project groups to ensure that events are run smoothly and to manage ongoing internal projects. Each project group is called a “Circle”. For every event we do, there is a Delegate from the Communication Circle responsible for ensuring that all the communication for an event happens in the best way possible. About EDGE
EDGE is an interdisciplinary community dedicated to blurring the border between art and neuroscience. We began with student-led multimedia exhibitions that soon grew into regular events, workshops, and projects with professionals in art and science. First based in Berlin and then expanded to include chapters in West Germany and USA, we’ve hosted events at Funkhaus, the Charité Teaching Hospital, Berlin Science Week, Burning Man, and many more. We are motivated by creating true interdisciplinary spaces, making the scientific process accessible, and sharing the beauty of the brain and nervous system in creative ways.
